Pumps for homes

Most single-family homes run on a 1 hp submersible pump. It runs on 220 volts and delivers 15 to 20 gallons per minute. We source our pumps from leading local suppliers with technical experts on staff.

When a pump fails, we pull the old one and install the new one. We also install and replace pressure tanks.

Commercial and irrigation pumps

For bigger wells, including irrigation, lake recharge, fountains, geothermal and agricultural wells, we recommend pumps from 2 to 100 hp, producing up to 2000 gallons per minute.

Clean installations

We pay attention to the small details. From the pump itself to the pressure tank, every installation should work properly and look tidy when we leave.

Well Pumps: common questions

How do I know if my well pump is failing?

Common signs are low or uneven water pressure, sputtering taps, a pump that switches on and off more than usual, air or sand in the water, or a higher electric bill with no other cause. No water at all usually means the pump, the pressure switch or the power to the pump. We can test the system and find the cause.

How long does a submersible well pump last?

Many submersible pumps last ten years or more, but it varies with the water quality, how hard the pump works and the power supply. Sand, iron and a pump that cycles on and off too often all shorten its life. If yours is getting old and showing signs of trouble, it is worth having it checked before it fails.

What size well pump does a home need?

Most single-family homes run on a 1 hp submersible pump. It runs on 220 volts and delivers 15 to 20 gallons per minute. Bigger properties, irrigation and commercial wells need larger pumps, from 2 to 100 hp.
